Back to retro

Back to retro

Back at home for a short while and simultaneously back to my retro style clothes. Not long ago where the days I dressed in full pin up attire, I'm actually missing it to be honest and I'm having a ponder of whether I just leap back in. I think I really suit the 1940's tea dress and neck lines hence the sheer amount of these dresses I have bought in the last couple of weeks.
Reintroducing myself to the old but including the new is my challenge of the month. So many new things have happened to me in the last 2 months and I guess the familiarity of the old will bring me a little comfort.

Right now, I don't have much time to scour vintage shops so the high-street is having to support my retro styling needs ha!

Outfit of the day post
Green has always been the colour I've always liked the least, in fact since I was a kid I've never really chosen anything that was remotely green. I must admit I am still not a convert to the greener way of life ... but I am getting there.. slowly.
Olive green is this months biggest trend not only for it synonymous relations to Christmas but to its comeback in both Men & women's AW16 catwalks .
I have styled the green trend more subtly pairing it with a cream patterned frill blouse and darker back pea coat. ( Yes it was below 0 when taking these photos and I am still very ill) so that was not the best idea.
