5 Items you need to buy to be on trend this Autumn/ Fall AW16
It's that time of year again when Autumn clothes are in and summer clothes are firmly out. Everyone is talking about transitional outfits at the moment but we're only about 2 weeks away from the cold setting in and that Cami top and cardigan combo just won't suffice any longer.
So it's time we went shopping! But what to buy? Here is 5 key items that will look stylish and on trend all Autumn/ Winter long.
The Trench coat/ Mac
The trench coat is one of those pieces you probably already own and feel every year you're persuaded to bring the thing out of storage. This year the trench coat has undergone a little face lift in the shape of a new texture. The leather trenchcoat is set to be a big trend this Autumn and
Proenza Schouler show proved just that. Leather macs style well with a low cut boot a mini boxy bag.

Ruffle Anything
Gucci one of my personal favourites has once again taken eccentricity to it's best and brightest. With colourful patterns, masses of bows and ruffles. Ruffles are probably this seasons biggest trend. Wear the trend subtly with a ruffles collar or go all out with a ruffled cape it's up to you.
Mid Heel Pump

Much alike to the flatted loafer that was Springs season's must have shoe. The mid heel pump has been breaking through onto the catwalk again my Gucci. The casual heel mixed with the stylish dressy loop and point allow the shoe to be a diverse and both classy but informal look.
Beret

A classic hat that can be worn in a variety of ways in a variety of styles. View how I styled this trend here This statement trend gives an outfit a touch of colour and class.
Velvet
Velvet is pretty much everywhere right now my favourite incorporation's of velvet came from the Prada show with this long royal blue velvet dress. But also the Saint Laurent fall catwalk with the velvet belted long pleated skirt. Darker velvet's including purples, blacks, blues and reds have also been popular.

So will you be wearing any of these styles this Autumn/ Fall?

Great post! I've always loved berets and velvet so I guess I'm doing okay! I'm not a fan of the loafer type shoe this fall just not for me, although I've seen it a lot! Thanks for sharing I'm looking forward to your next blog. I have a new blog and I'd love to invite you to come check it out too! xoxo
