Knitwear fever!

15:50:00

Today marks the first official day of autumn! Some may be mourning over the tragedy of the summer being over, as for me I couldn't be more ecstatic. Purely for the fact I love knitwear so much. That and warm cosy fires blah blah blah.

Today's outfit included a pink chunky cardigan paired with a floral dress.
The floral print dress is from mela loves London ❤️ I just love the girly colours matched with darker subtler tones. Even though it's now autumn it doesn't mean you have to stop wearing floral summer colours or patterning either. Pairing the outfit with darker tights or socks makes the look feel more appropriate for the season whilst still being able to use those summer clothes instead of banishing them to the back of the wardrobe.
I feel this is more of a casual look, for me I used this as my Sunday look. I would probably wear this for college for the comfort value whilst keeping a cute feminine look.
Here are the details of the dress
I kept the footwear simple for practicality of going on walk, however matching the look with boots or even smaller heels would be perfect. I'm a sucker for things matching I'm afraid. My bag is from top shop it's a small satchel which have once again made a comeback this year. 70s fashion is extremely trending in the world of fashion for autumn winter 2015 meaning florals and such bags will not be hard to find.

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend, don't forget to follow my Instagram to not miss an update.
